Latest News:    4/8/2012 Went down to Fenwick for a beautiful Easter weekend with Grandmom, Grandpop, Aunt Kate, Alexander, Emily and Maya. Check out the video of Emily and Katie's skit at the doctor's office and also compiled clips of Katie and her easter basket. 3/31/2012 Will had his first solid food with help from his big sister, Mommy and Daddy. Will see if a regular infusion of rice cereal can help him close the gap on his 95% percentile for height! Check out the video of Will eating his first few bites. 3/31/2012 Posting some miscellaneous photos of the kids from March 2012.  Don't miss the video clip illustrating "what happens when you keep kids up too late".    3/13/2012 The family went down to Stuart FL for a fun visit with Mimi and Pop. Will handled his first plane ride like a pro and Katie couldn't get enough of swimming in the pool. Check out the video clips from sunny Stuart.   2/26/2012 Had a great visit with the cousins at Guy, Mary, and Avery's house in Hebron. Kyle, Marisa, Elie and Tyler made the trip down from Newton for some lunch and fun playing games and in the backyard. Thanks Guy, Mary and Avery for hosting a fun day! Check out the video clips from the visit.  2/21/2012 Have continued to chip away at adding Julie's old albums to the site and have just about completed the 1980's.  Click here to jump to Julie's Old Albums.  I also created a couple "Smart Galleries" which pull photos from the main galleries. There's one for each side of the family; one for the Marchesseault side and one for the Holzer side.   They should update dynamically as I add new tagged photos to future galleries. 2/4/2012 At only four months, went in for Will's first haircut a full year earlier than his big sister. As one of the pictures illustrates, his sideburns had starting to interfere with his hearing, which precipitated swift action. He handled the outing like a champion, seemed to truly enjoy himself, and was the most popular fella (if not, the only "fella") at the salon. 10/22/2011 Will is adjusting nicely to his nutty new family. During Will's First Month he has been eating and sleeping like a champ and has hosted additional visits from Aunt Kate, cousin Maya, Daddy's Uncle Guy, Aunt Leslie, and Nina. 10/3/2011 After a short labor, William Craig Holzer was born at 11:52pm on October 3, 2011. He weighed 7 pounds 14 ounces and measured 21" long. Our stay at the hospital was very brief and we were home in 36 hours. In his first week Will hosted out-of-town visits from Grandmom, Grandpop, Uncle Guy, Aunt Mary and cousin Avery. 10/31/2011 We had a fun Halloween in Whippany, and in a historic case of "trick" AND "treat", the freak October snowstorm (and associated power outages) brought Guy, Mary, Avery to NJ for Halloween itself. Katie really loved trick-or-treating (in the snow!) as we probably enjoyed our final Halloween outing where she didn't fully grasp the enormous potential energy contained in the brightly colored wrappers she was having fun collecting door-to-door. Included a video of Katie trick-or-treating. 8/7/2011 Spent a beautiful two weeks up on Flye Point in Brooklin, ME with Mimi and Pop. Did an overnight in Freeport on the way up, and then visited with Uncle Guy, Aunt Leslie, Guy, Mary and Baby Avery on the trip home. While there we celebrated our 5-year anniversary and Megan's 36th birthday. Relaxed, ate well, and had several fun day-trips including our first boat tour of Blue Hill Bay which included seeing lobsters, all kinds of birds, seals and even a bald eagle. Check out the video of Katie's impromptu talent show, and if you have time, there's a 10 minute compilation of video clips from the whole trip. 7/12/2011 Our beautiful new niece Avery Elizabeth Holzer was born mid-July. These are a collection of pictures spanning her first month.  12/29/2010 The family all made the drive up to Lake Placid for a few nights to celebrate Ken's 70th birthday and New Years. Had fun lounging, cooking, eating, and playing outside. Check out the video clips from the trip. 10/31/2010 Grandmom and Grandpop came up from Delaware to spend Halloween weekend with us. On Sunday we all went over the Whippany for trick-or-treating and pumpkin supper with Mimi and Pop.  9/25/2010 Mimi and Pop joined us for a quick trip to the Turtleback Zoo. We had gone a few weeks prior but the zoo was shut down immediately after we arrived because the leopard had escaped her enclosure. We stopped in to have a word with the leopard who offered neither comment nor apology. 9/17/2010 Made the realization that we have a total of 3 photos in 2 years that have all three of us in it (and yes, one of them is when we arrived home from the hospital after Katie was born). The result was our first real "family photo" sitting, taken on a beautiful day over in Jockey Hollow. 8/21/2010 Katie had a super-fun birthday weekend with the family. On Friday, Grandmom and Grandpop came up from DE and Mary-Kate, Jerome, Alexander, Emily and Maya all came up from MD. After breakfast we all went to the pool for a couple hours, and then back for a nap. In the afternoon. Guy and Mary came down from CT and Mimi and Pop came over for a BBQ, cake and presents. Make sure to check out the video from the weekend. 8/13/2010 After an overnight with Guy, Les and Nina in Boxford, took a flight out to Chicago for Andrew and Analiese's Wedding. Great weekend with the family. got to meet baby Tyler, as well as many of Andrew and Analiese's friends. Wish we took more pictures. Did manage to get some video of the ceremony and the reception. 8/12/2010 Grandmom and Grandpop joined us on our Flye Point vacation for a few days before traveling on to Bar Harbor. Guy also spent a couple nights on his way up to PEI. Katie loved her first visit to the Point, especially gathering rocks/shells and stalking the Lookout's mascot, Elwood. Check out the video compilation from the trip. 7/4/2010 Had a nice visit with family in DE over the 4th. Megan, Katie, Mary Kate, Emily and Maya spent the week visiting with Grandmom and Grandpop at the beach. Alexander, Jerome and Craig joined for the weekend and Uncle Bob brought Grandmom Lillian for a visit and barbecue. Check out the video clips from the visit. 6/5/2010 Took an afternoon trip over to Fosterfields Historical Farm in Morristown. Its a working farm using turn of the century methods and has horses, cows, chickens, sheep, goats, pigs and all kinds of other things to see.
